Alissa Paolella | Writer
Alissa Paolella is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a certificate in women’s and gender studies. In her first career, Alissa worked as a city editor, reporter and photojournalist in northwest Ohio. Today, she specializes in a wide array of marketing communications activities.

Alissa has overseen print and digital marketing and communications campaigns in a variety of industries. She works on interdisciplinary teams to establish and maintain consistent brand standards across organizations. Alissa has a keen ability to communicate complex industry jargon in simple language quickly and accurately.
In her free time, Alissa serves as secretary and board trustee for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Seneca, Sandusky & Wyandot Counties and as board member for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) of Northwest Ohio. She almost always has a book (or two) nearby, and she also enjoys walking and hiking outdoors with her camera.
